Introducing "Insights"
If you have read our homepage and the TFWho? page then you will probably have some understanding of what TFA is but it might still be a little unclear what “Insights” in particular is going to offer. That’s what we’ll be attempting to clarify for all of you with this first article. But let us thank you first for your interest and for following through on our website. The Frontdesk Assistants is a new project of ours in which we’re going to be figuring a lot of shit out as we continue. All of you who are reading this right now are here at the very start and we appreciate that massively.
“If you’re not cheating, you’re not trying”. This is something wrestler Eddie Guerrero has said and it has repeatedly been used by different people in different scenarios. A fighter pilot told me this exact thing once. He emphasized that I should use everyone around me and take advantage of their knowledge to become better myself (while taking everything you hear with a grain of salt of course). We are here to offer what we know and you are here to start cheating.
In other words we want to share knowledge, experiences, thoughts and pretty much anything which we can write about in order to tickle that grey mass behind your forehead. These subjects can vary from cool stuff that happened on deployment to the most horrible shit that someone has gone through. In any case it will be related to the military, police, other first responders but also training, goals, mental health and probably even more. These stories are from the people around us who most of the time (most likely all of the time) will remain anonymous. We’re pretty sure that doesn’t need an explanation.
However we’re trying to make a community of like-minded people which means that we also want your input. If you have a specific topic that you would like us to talk about or have an interesting story that kind of fits in between our lanes which you don’t mind sharing then be sure to send an email to info@frontdeskassistants.com.
